1. General information
Kinloved.com is an online service that allows users to create and share memorials for people who have died, publish memories and provide information that may help others locate a resting place.
By using the service, you agree to these Terms in relation to the features and services you use.
2. Basic memorials
Creating and maintaining a basic memorial on Kinloved.com is free.
At minimum, a first name and surname are required to create a memorial. Other information is optional unless a form states otherwise.
An account is not required to create a basic memorial. A person creating a memorial without an account receives a private editing link and is responsible for keeping that link confidential.
3. Accounts and memorial management
You may create a free account to manage memorials assigned to you more conveniently.
A memorial may have an owner and authorised editors. The owner is responsible for managing access and for content they publish or allow to remain on a memorial they manage.
You should protect your password, private editing links and any other information that provides access to memorial-management features.
4. Published content
You must not publish unlawful, defamatory, abusive or privacy-infringing content, or material that infringes copyright, personal rights or other rights belonging to another person.
Anyone uploading text, photographs or other material confirms that they have the right or appropriate permission to publish it.
Kinloved.com may remove or restrict access to content that breaches these Terms, applicable law, the rights of others or the security of the service.
5. Memories and reports
Visitors may leave memories on memorial pages. The owner or an authorised editor may remove content they manage.
Users may report a memorial or published content for review. A report does not automatically remove a memorial or any content.
The memorial owner may be informed about a report so they can review and correct content. Kinloved.com may also take independent moderation action where appropriate.
6. Memorial visibility
An owner may make a memorial public or available only through its direct link.
Link-only memorials are not intentionally displayed in public search results, public listings or the sitemap.
Kinloved.com may temporarily suspend a memorial where review is needed for legal, safety, security, reporting or Terms-related reasons.
7. Paid features
Basic use of Kinloved.com remains free. The service may offer optional paid extras, including additional photo-gallery space and temporary featured placement.
The price and scope of each paid feature are shown before payment. Purchasing an optional feature is not required to keep a basic memorial online.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Kinloved.com does not store users' full payment-card details.
Additional photo slots are added to a memorial's existing allowance. Featured time may be extended by purchasing additional periods as described at checkout.
8. Cancellations, refunds and complaints
Consumers purchasing services online may have cancellation and other rights under applicable consumer law, subject to relevant exceptions and rules for services that begin before a cancellation period has expired.

Refunding an optional paid feature does not automatically remove the underlying free memorial. Entitlements connected with a refunded purchase may be withdrawn or adjusted where appropriate.
9. Availability and security
Kinloved.com aims to keep the service available and working correctly, but temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, hosting problems or events outside our reasonable control.
You must not attempt to bypass security measures, abuse forms through automation, obtain unauthorised access or interfere with operation of the service.
10. Removing memorials and accounts
An authorised owner may remove a memorial they manage using the features made available by the service.
A user account may be deleted where the user is not still the owner of a memorial that first needs to be transferred or removed.
Some transaction information may need to be retained where required for accounting, payment, fraud-prevention, legal or security purposes.
11. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the service changes, new features are introduced, security requirements change or applicable law requires an update.
Changes do not remove rights already acquired through earlier transactions or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
